Why select a casual wedding venue?

You have known and loved each other for some time now, and your commitment to each other took shape over time. Formalizing your relationship is certainly a cause for celebration with family and friends – but it doesn’t really change things between you. It’s just one day in the unfolding of your life together.

Maybe too much glitz and glitter does not fit with your idea of a wedding. Maybe you just want to throw a great party and have fun – without the rarified air of pretend sophistication stifling that exuberance. Maybe you cherish your relationship and your private lives too much to put on an elaborate show for others to judge. Maybe you don’t need a ‘perfect’ day, ‘perfect’ decor, any of that fake perfection… because, really, the two of you together are already perfect.

If you are looking for something different… maybe less formal… maybe less expensive…  there are plenty of potential wedding venues for you to consider in and around Toronto. We’d like to invite you to embrace the comforts of casualness with one of the venues we reviewed and explore other restaurants and bars you like.
