Food. Drawing inspiration from the traditional artisanal ways, Luigi takes what the seasons give, and follows his intuition to handcraft a diverse menu of light, crisply fresh, high-quality food. At Artigiano, you may be surprised by the variety of antipasto (appetizers) that will keep coming your way, and you may even make the understandable mistake of forgetting that the main course is still on its way.

When Luigi and his small team are hosting your party, they will take the time to develop an understanding of who your guests are, and what kind of food would make everybody’s day memorable. Well-versed in the cuisines of different regions of Italy as well as Portugal, Artigiano’s team’s hospitality will feel a little bit like Southern Europe’s sunshine on a cool day.

The unassuming exterior hides a newly renovated, very well laid out, intimate space (up to 36 guests, seated) and a lovely patio designed in cream tones with brown accents. Full audio-visual setup in accordance with your requirements (ie, speakers, microphone, projector screen, etc) can be arranged by the restaurant at a small additional cost.

Setup. A perfect wedding day may begin with a ceremony amid the greenery of the nearby Humber Arboretum – or in the historic Pioneer Village, which also offer excellent photography spots (special permits may be required). The restaurant is easily accessible from these locations via highways (400, highway 7 or toll highway 407) with lots of free parking nearby on the weekends. The premises are wheelchair accessible.

Costs – as of August 2018. A three-course meal (antipasto, pasta, and secondi) could cost between $50 to $85 per guest, with the higher-end price range consisting of deluxe selections of the likes of filet mignon. A time-limited open bar offering house wine, beer and rail liquor would cost another $15, thus easily making your total per-guest cost at or below $100 (not including taxes and gratuity). No additional venue fee will be applicable, and existing furniture (high-top and regular tables and chairs) and linens will be made available to you. An additional surcharge may apply if you wish to rent certain audio-visual equipment that the restaurant has available. Artigiano’s small team will do their best to make your guests happy, so while gratuity is not included in the price, you are encouraged to add gratuity to reflect the quality of service.
